Alice Massimi is the senior director of strategic communications for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Hiring Our Heroes. She leads the communications team as they work strategically to develop and execute storytelling and branding strategies.
Massimi is an award-winning television reporter and experienced strategic communications professional with a proven track record in effective storytelling and communication planning through the use of analytics and targeted stakeholder engagement. She spent more than fifteen years in broadcast television news. Starting out on the local level as a reporter and anchor, she also worked on the national level as a writer and producer.
The spouse of an active-duty soldier, she previously served as the public information officer for Riley County, Kansas. Overseeing the creation and management of communication campaigns throughout the county, she utilized traditional and social media in order to engage the diverse community. While in that role she was tasked with leading the communication effort during the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines.
Massimi holds a master’s degree in strategic communication from American University and a professional certificate in social media management from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies.
