Dwight J. Fitzgerald is the director of the Corporate Fellowship Program for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes. He leads the Corporate Fellowship team as they engage military installations and employers to provide fellowship opportunities that lead to job offers for transitioning service members.
Prior to joining the Chamber, Dwight served as an active-duty Marine for 22 years. As a retired Marine, he continued to serve as a career specialist, transition advisor, voluntary education program manager, transition readiness program manager, and branch head for the Marine and family programs division of Marine Corps Community Services at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton. As the branch head, he oversaw the delivery of education, transition support, library, financial education and family member employment assistance services aboard MCB Camp Pendleton and Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow.
Dwight holds a master’s degree in administration and is a certified professional career coach as well as a certified employment interview professional.
