Earthquakes in Türkiye (Turkey) and Syria

AbbVie will donate $1 million to the disaster response and relief efforts in Turkey and Syria. AbbVie will also be matching employee donations to eligible nonprofits working on the ground.

Adidas is partnering with the German Red Cross by setting up a platform in collaboration with the non-profit so individual employees can contribute. The company will match all employee donations.

AerCap has transported approximately 13 tons of humanitarian aid to Türkiye. Airbnb.org will help first responders and rescue workers in Turkey and Syria obtain temporary housing. Airbnb will help pay for the shelter, but it’s also inviting the public to donate to the effort. Airbnb will match donations from the public up to $5 million total. The free, temporary housing is provided by Airbnb hosts who volunteer to rent out their spaces for free. Airbnb waives the service fees hosts usually pay when the guest is a refugee.

Allianz Group announced today that it would make available six million euros to support relief and recovery efforts following the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria This includes up to one million euros to match the donations of its employees and tied agents.

Amazon announced an initial commitment of $600,000 in total cash donations to non-governmental organizations providing critical support in areas affected by the earthquake in Türkiye and Syria. The AmerisourceBergen Foundation has assembled a package of $250,000 of relief funds distributed to its strategic nonprofit partners including Direct Relief, UNICEF, and the Red Cross, among others.
