Amid a national child care crisis, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation today announced the launch of the Early Childhood and Business Advisory Council, a joint initiative between the U.S. Chamber Foundation and the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) to expand high-quality, affordable child care in communities and states across the United States, to help solve one of the biggest issues facing American families and employers during the pandemic.

U.S. Chamber Foundation, USAA Launch Second Military Spouse Economic Empowerment Zone in Tampa

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation's Hiring Our Heroes, in collaboration with USAA and the Greater Tampa and South Tampa Chambers of Commerce, today announced Tampa as the nation’s newest Military Spouse Economic Empowerment Zone (MSEEZ). A collaborative effort among the local business, civic, and military communities to address the economic impact of military spouse unemployment and underemployment on 21st century military families, MSEEZ establish geographically-focused employment networks to connect military spouses to local career opportunities.
