Talent Forward 2019 Wrap-Up

Each year, as the Chamber Foundation hosts the Talent Forward national workforce conference, we focus on talent—educating and training, talent tech and data, recruiting, hiring, and upskilling. With no shortage of talent challenges, the opportunities for informative discussion are endless. While a day devoted to dissecting talent-related topics could focus solely on the problems, Talent Forward is all about the solutions.

T3 Innovation Network Annual Meeting

This annual meeting, held in Chicago, IL, will convene participants in the T3 Innovation Network to talk about the road we have traveled and document our plans for the road ahead. This event will include keynotes, breakout sessions for pilot project discussions, as well as a networking reception.

U.S. Chamber Foundation Leads Modernization of Data Standard for Jobs

JDX JobSchema+ Release
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation today announced a public feedback period on the JDX JobSchema+, a proposal to significantly evolve the existing data standard for job postings. The goal of this proposal is to expand on the foundation of the JobPosting Schema to meet more diverse hiring needs in a modern workplace and provide a more granular view of in-demand skills and competencies.

Travel Forward

The U.S. Chamber Foundation's TRAVEL FORWARD summit is a future-looking platform to explore the people, ideas, and innovations moving the travel industry forward. On May 9, the summit brought together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and tech experts who discussed the innovations and emerging technologies that are making travel more efficient, personalized, accessible, interactive, affordable, and safe. TRAVEL FORWARD covered topics such as high-tech transportation, space tourism, micro hotels, customer service robots, AI, personalized travel, and more.
