To help communities reopen their economies, the U.S. Chamber Foundation developed a weekly event series, Path Forward: Navigating the Return to Work, with timely, practical information about everything from best practices for social distancing to how to obtain critical equipment. Join us every Thursday at 3 P.M. ET to hear from some of the world’s leading experts on public health and business operations during the pandemic.
We’re also exploring public attitudes in the wake of this unprecedented health and economic crisis.
Rich Thau from Engagious told us during a recent episode of Path Forward that consumers need assurances as stay-at-home orders begin to ease. What can you do to reassure customers and employees that their health is your No. 1 priority?
There are a few things he says are most likely to reassure people, including:
- Visible and accessible hand sanitizer
- Workers who can be seen cleaning the shop or office
- Posted information about the steps you’re taking to reduce the risk of infection
To help other organizations prepare, the Foundation helped develop a new online tool you can use to create a customized flyer with information about the steps your organization is taking to reduce the risk of infection as millions return to work. Make it your own by adding a logo, tailoring the list to what you’re doing, printing it out, and posting it in your window.
